Augusta Sportswear Girls' Octane Shorts and a rant about PE class.

My daughter (like so many other kids) went back to school recently.  This trimester, she has PE.  She needs to have Althletic shorts with a 7" inseam.  (ha!  Right.  I'll find that all over this time of year.  Blends in nicely with the Halloween costumes and Christmas lights.  But, that is a whole different rant so I'll leave it alone for now.)  I looked all over online for these suckers.  Couldn't find a thing.  She had her brother's shorts ready for the next day.  And he is younger so they weren't exactly a great fit.  BUT, my friend sent me a link to these:  Augusta Sportswear Girls' Octane Shorts

So, this is my plan, now.  I still don't know why we have to find shorts with such a long inseam.  Of course, if I start talking dress code, that will be yet another rant so I should jump off before I start in on it all.  Ha!

Good Thins the potato one

OMG. So, my voxbox came in while I was gone. I got these AMAZING sweet potato thins to try for free. It was only a snack size (pout) but I have a coupon for $1 off my next box of good thins , wheat thins or triscuit crackers. Now, I love the others but these - I need more ASAP. A trip to Walmart may be in order tomorrow. I will add, I got this sample complimentary for testing purposes but my thoughts and opinions are my own.

P F Chang's Teriyaki Sauce

Okay, I should start by saying I'm NOT a huge fan of Teriyaki sauce.  I like things like Chicken teriyaki (on a stick) at the Chinese restaurant but most sauces I have tried...not a fan.  So, when I say that this one was pretty good, that says something.  lol.  We chose to do our own thing and smoked up some ribs and used this sauce after.  Everyone in the house that eats ribs, gobbled these up.  No leftovers (as there shouldn't be...)  So, This sauce gets a thumbs up from me and I thank PF Chang for providing me a full size sample to try out in my latest Voxbox.  (all opinions are my own)

Apple & Eve fruitables and 100% juice

A little ways back, I got some fruitables and 100% juice by Apple & Eve to try out in a voxbox from Influenster.  I did receive the products for free but my thoughts and opinions are my own.  I am always a little leery when trying fruit/veggie blends but these were pretty tasty.  The kids randomly grabbed the boxes with no mind to what any of them said (when you have 5 kids, they tend to grab fast to be sure they actually GET one.  No time to be picky.  lol.)  My oldest didn't come down for this as he's 14 and too cool to actually be involved in the family (no, he's actually pretty good but he does love his video games..) so I got to have the 5th box.  :)  They were sucked down fast and they were bummed when I said we didn't have anymore.  Overall, they were all delicious and I would happily add more to our snack time stockpile.  It's a great drink from a reliable brand.  Including the fruitables.  Personally, I had the very berry  100% juice.  YUM.  :)  Check out 3 of these happy kids (the 4th was too excited to sit still.  lol.) drinkin their boxes.  lol.  I fully recommend these juice boxes for any snack time.  :)  And I'll totally consider the big jugs for the fridge.

Secret clinical strength invisible solid

Showing some love to secret for a contest. I've been a secret Girl since forever. My mother used it when I was a kid. I will mix it up with dove sometimes, but those are my 2 main go to brands. It always gets the job done. The clinical strength was no different. Goes on easy, smells great. Keeps ME smelling great. Perfect to keep in my bag for on the go use. I now have one in my bag. Lol. I like a reliable product that does what it claims,and that's what u get with  Secret.

Clariol Liquicolor Permanante

Before & after liquicolor permanate by Clairol. I would recommend it based on what I've seen so far. Don't smell the gold container, it will destroy your nose. I do wish they had more in depth instructions. And my hair was a bit dried out but not as much as I had expected. I got this item free in my voxbox from in fluenster but my opinions are my own.
